GOMERM SETS FOR 14TH ANNUAL POWER CONFERENCE AUGUST 8-11, 2013, ITS ANOTHER SEASON OF BLESSINGS

It is a new season, a new year to celebrate another milestone in the life of the great apostolic and prophetic Christian ministry superintended by the humble, diligent, unassuming and dynamic man of God, Dr. James Oluwole  Akanbi. The ministry is the God’s Mercy Revival Ministries (GOMERM) born 14 years ago with a strong mission to counter the revival of the devil at this end –time.

Sunday August 11, 2013 marks the beginning of another year for the church to consolidate on the previous year’s spiritual gains and also gather more saints for the great task of waging serious war against the antics of the devil.

The day will feature prophetic impartation and anointing service to hold at the Foursquare Church Camp Ground, Orisunmbare, Pipeline, Idimu, Lagos, Nigeria. The team of the ‘From Destination to Destiny: Time for Prophetic Transfiguration.

According to Pastor Joseph Olorunfemi, the Director of Crusades and Missions, the Power Conference which is the climax of a three –day activities lined up to celebrate the season, is expected to  host no less than 10,000 Christian worshippers including visitors and members of the church at home and abroad.

Activities lined up for the annual conference tagged ‘Zion 2013’ include Revival Hour slated for August 8 and 9, 2013 at the impressive Headquarters auditorium of the church situated on 2/4 Femi Bankole Close, Pab Bus stop, Arida, Ikotun, Lagos, Nigeria. Each day service starts at 6pm prompt and the visiting ministers of God  billed to preside on each day include Pastor Aanu Ojo and Prophet Ogundare of the Christ Apostolic Church.

For easy access to the venue of the Power Conference, especially for new visitors, the church has concluded plans to provide free shuttle services with buses that will be positioned at locations around the host local government area.

The celebration is an annual tradition which started 13 years ago at the place of origin of the church, Baba Oba, along Egbeda –Idimu Road, Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State in Nigeria ans subsequently held an its camp ground in Ofada, Ogun State. The decision to hold this year’s conference at the Foursquare Camp Ground according to one of the church elders is to greatly reach out to people in the city with the gospel of Christ Jesus.

GOMERM’s annual conference apart from being a forum to celebrate another milestone in the life of the church is also aimed at spreading the word of God beyond the walls of the church. It is also a life changing event from which great testimonies have always emerged.

INCESSANT STILL BIRTH SUCCUMBED TO PROPHETIC ORDER

Sister Aina was at the last conference with problem of regular still birth spanning five years. After a prophetic intervention and powerful prayer, she became pregnant again and today she is carrying her baby girl, thus disgracing the power behind her ordeal.

TEN YEAR BARRENESS TERMINATED

It was just a prophetic word statement that “God has answered a career woman who is looking for the fruit of the womb” that opened the miracle for Sister B. She was at the Ofada conference in one of the previous years and from that anointing, the sister who had been barren for 10 years became pregnant the month after the conference and she is now a mother.

DEBTOR PAY BACK DEBT, BLESSED WITH A CAR

Brother J.  had a troubling debt of over half -of -a million  hanging on him as at the time he attended the conference at Ofada, He cried unto the God of mercy and his debt was miraculously liquidated after meeting a benefactor. Within a space of three months the brother who was hitherto living through a hard time acquired a brand new car to the glory of God.

FIBROID, OVARIAN CYST BOWED TO GOD OF MERCY

“Last year I told God to heal me by a divine operation as the man of God was ministering. After the conference I saw a doctor coming to me in my dream and took something out of my intestine and I woke up. When I went back to the hospital for test, I was told that the fibroid and ovarian cyst had disappeared. Praise God!” This is the testimony of Sister Funmi who attended the conference with the problems of fibroid and ovarian cyst already scheduled for surgical operation by medical doctors at a cost of 400,000 naira.

SEVEN- POINT PRAYERS ANSWERED

“I bless the name of the Lord God of Zion. Last year during the conference, I wrote seven-point prayers and presented before God. These include examination success for my husband a visa to pursue his post graduate course in the United Kingdom, provision of a good job and healing from hypertension. To the glory of God all the prayer points were answered.”

CHANGE OF GENOTYPE AND HEALING OF 26 YEARS RHEUMATISM

“It must be a miracle.” This was the submission of a group of doctors who were stunned by the work of God in the life of their patient, Sister Yemi. Indeed it was a miracle for the doctors who discovered that what man cannot do, the Lord Jesus Christ can do. During one of the past conference, the Lord used the case of Sister Yemi to prove the point as established in the Bible that he can do all things. The sister has been down with 26 -year- old rheumatism, the product of what the doctors diagnosed as uncommon genotype. But in his wonderful ways, during ministration by the man of God she was touched and her situation changed- genotype corrected, no more rheumatism.
